Sunday Temple Worship

Our central weekly gathering runs every Sunday from 11am to 1:30pm — a time of prayer, scripture, and praise that unites the full congregation in honor of Haile Selassie I.

Beginning at 10:00am each Sunday, our School session offers spiritual education for all ages, deepening members' grounding in faith before the main Temple service.

Online Zoom Worship

Every Sunday at 11:00am Eastern Time our service is broadcast live via Zoom, so worshippers near and far can participate from wherever they are.

Prison Ministry

Our Prison Ministry carries the spirit of our congregation to those who are incarcerated, offering spiritual resources, correspondence, and steadfast support.

Cooperative Enterprises

Through Green Gold Gardens and other cooperative ventures, the church invests in community self-sufficiency, putting the values of collective care into tangible action.

Ba Beta Kristiyan Haile Selassie I — The Church of Haile Selassie I — is a congregation on Gates Ave in Brooklyn, New York, gathered in worship and service centered on the name and legacy of Emperor Haile Selassie I.

Every Sunday our members come together for School and Temple Worship, connect globally through a weekly Zoom broadcast, and extend care outward through Prison Ministry and cooperative community enterprises.
